Diflucan.

Diflucan (fluconazole) is supposed to be taken only by people diagnosed with certain yeast infections that can sometimes affect blood, mouth, vagina, throat, esophagus and other parts of the body and organs. You are not supposed to be taking this medicine if you are regnant, breastfeeding or if you are allergic to the active ingredient of Diflucan, as well as ketoconazole, itraconazole, fluconazole, and voriconazole. Make you report any drug you are using before string the treatment, as later you may get interactions that can be quite unpleasant. The following drugs are important to mention: blood thinners, theophylline, oral diabetes medicines, clopidogrel, cyclosporine, rifabutin, seizure medications, tacrolimus, and some sedatives. If you are not sure what the drugs you are taking actually are – feel free to talk to your health care provider your pharmacist. Your doctor needs to know if you have heart rhythm disorder, AIDS, personal or family history of Long QT, liver disease, or kidney disease, as those factors can be important in determining your dose. Mild side effects of Diflucan include change in ability to taste food, diarrhea, heartburn, dizziness, stomach pain, and headache.
